Members?
Q: How many members does Gavilanes have?
A: We currently have 5 members. Read more about our members in the
Members Page.

Payment Methods?

ALL PAYMENTS ARE IN CASH  (unless prior arrangements have been made)

Q: When would you like to get payed?
A: Usually our clients pay us in cash AT THE START of the performance,
because they know that our schedule does not allow us to wait to get payed
after the performance has ended. This usually benefits both us and the client.

Contracts?
Q: Does Los Gavilanes issue contracts?
A: Written contracts are required for all performances. There are few
occasions where an oral contract is implemented. If time doesn't allow us to
issue a contract a verbal contract is implemented.

Q: What is the quickest way to receive and send a contract?
A: The most common way is to fax. My fax machine is not set-up to receive
faxes at all times, a courtesy call is needed to set the machine to pick up after 4

Q: I called to book a performance the day before the performance date, do I
need a contract?
A: No, in this situation, a verbal contract is issued because there is no time to
send and receive a contract, unless you have a fax machine.

Faxes?
My fax machine is not set-up to receive faxes at all times, a courtesy call is
needed to set the machine to pick up after 4 rings.

Follow these steps to send a fax.
1. Call (214) 275 7764, let us know you are going to send a fax from your fax#.
(if you do not get and answer, keep trying)
2. Wait a few minutes
3. Send fax

Songlist?
Q: Can I request a song NOT on your list for my perfromance?
A: Sure. If there is enough time to learn the song for your event. Usually 2
weeks prior notice. We practice on Tuesdays, so any notice will have to be
before Tuesdays.
